The INVEP 2.0 project (INternational
Volunteer in Educational Projects) is a long-term project that consists of
different stages. The first step starts with the INVEP 2.0 training course that
will gather together young people from Turkey, Spain, Jordan, Palestine, Italy
and Greece to learn how to act as trainers for fostering and promoting
volunteering in educational projects with children and youth. During 7 seven
days the participants will be Introduced in the techniques and methodologies to
be a trainer of young people and get to understand the importance of educating
children and young people early in transforming and changing the values of
the social system . Because being a volunteer with children and young people
requires specific skills and training in order to fulfill the volunteer's
expectation and the needs of the children and the young people. After the
training, the participants will run at the local places two training courses
for young people of their communities so that the participants become
volunteers in educational projects already running in their local communities.
At the end of the experience, some of them will meet together in a youth
exchange in Greece where they will work and share their experiences by means of
producing an art piece for Children with the topic of domestic violence. The
project is the second stage of a previous one that was already tested during
2012-2013.
