Social Youth Development,KANE (Greece) is a non-profit organization situated in Kalamata,Greece. Local young people founded KANE in 2008 with the aim to develop both locally and internationally.Our target group is young people aged 15-35 and people involved in the youth field.
Our vision is to foster youth motivation in order to take initiatives and become more active citizens.Our mission is to create structures for the youth and to provide educational and training opportunities for youngsters and people that work in the youth field.We also aim at fighting discrimination,fostering intercultural and social development,and promoting social inclusion and equality,particularly for young people. At organizational level,we promote cooperation among local,regional and international organizations and public bodies.


The specific goals of our organization are divided into 3 categories:
1. Youth
-Support youth in the local community(Personal and social development,effective integration into the economic and social community)

-Create Youth Structures(youth centres,community centres,festivals,other)

-Promote non-formal learning in the youth field

-Promote active citizenship at local and European level,encourage intercultural cooperation and the fight against discrimination

-Recognition of the profession of youth worker

2. Local community

-Promote the idea of volunteerism
-Promote social inclusion and equal opportunities in education
-Create a network of local organizations or groups specialized in social work

3.Organizational
-Capacity building and ongoing staff training
-Achieving operational sustainability
-Continuous improvement of quality assurance and enhancement programs nationwide and European
-Continuous development of new partnerships and creation of a European network

Following the principles of "Education for Sustainable Development",the organisation's activities focus on the implementation of European programs for youth,seminars and the organization of educational,cultural and environmental activities,international training courses,conferences,mobility projects,voluntary projects and professional and personal support for youth and adults.Through its activities,the organization has established stable and successful partnerships with organizations and public bodies both locally and internationally.

In the 5 years of its existence, KANE has managed to create 2 successful youth structures:
-the Youth Centre of Kalamata, which, already has the capacity to offer 54 workshops to 850 youth out of the 2700 members and involve in its activities more than 3000 local youth. Its main achievements are the integration of immigrants and local marginalized youth to its activities.
- the Street Festival of Kalamata, which aims to offer opportunities to youth to express themselves through street art in order to foster social inclusion and respect in diversity. The 7th street festival was international and hosted 7500 visitors in 3 days.

Dignità del Lavoro (Italy)

is a social cooperative, that is a non profit organization that aims at the local and regional community’s wellness carrying out productive activities for work inclusion of socially disadvantaged young people. Dignità del Lavoro has been promoted by Delfino Lavoro social cooperative of Cosenza and acquired its activities and experience. Most of its members, in fact, were members or cooperators of the previous organization.The main activities carried out today are the production of educational games and the organization of events.

Youth Spirit Center (YSC) is a Jordanian non-profit, non-governmental organization, which believes in dialogue and social work and whose mission is to promote their concepts and importance through the community. YSC believes in the culture of Peace and non-violence as language for dialogue and understanding. YSC also helping in building bridges of understanding between youth from different cultural, economical, educational and religious backgrounds, to break stereotypes and to promote the Jordanian example on coexistence and diversity. We are working on building bridges between youth from different cultural, economical, educational and religious backgrounds and to promote dialogue as a tool for better understanding within the same community and between other communities to explore cultural diversity and identify the opportunities and challenges it presents. We hosted, co-organized, and participated in many regional and international cultural exchanges, trainings and seminars. Promoting intercultural learning, dialogue and action are within YSC mission, In this context, We are keen to improve  the skills and the abilities of our Youth  and youth worker to transfer knowledge, as well as developing themselves on a holistic level and explore helpful training tools which will be relevant and useful for their own community. We have the experience in promoting intercultural programsand youth exchange and follow up with our participants, The young people involved in this exchange know the importance of knowledge. Having been part of many cross community projects in Jordan and they are looking to contribute positively. These young people have proven in the pass that they have the skills and tolerance to be part of this programme working with cross community groups. 

Tomorrow Makers Association (Palestine) Society is a Palestinian civil non-governmental organization specializing in youth work in all its forms and objectives established on (8/12/2009) by the youth group student Palestinian seeking to change the reality of Palestinian youth for the better, and are officially registered with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the license number (NA-7232-S).
Association provides services to all segments of society and target class youth sector and Vanguard of both sexes and focus its programs on youth development and encourage volunteer work and meet and respect the needs of young people and enable them to strengthen their role in building the Palestinian civil society, and draws the Assembly maximum efforts for the care and development of young children and their attention and develop their abilities and their psychological support and provide the means recreational, educational, cultural, social and artistic health to them.

Charity highly credible aims to serve young people and strengthen their role in society and enable them to better Palestinian future.

We are a leading charity emblem together and together for a better tomorrow and Youth Service and Vanguard high credibility.
General objective:
Work on the protection and development of the youth in the community capacity through the rehabilitation of Palestinian human cadre capable of spreading awareness and stimulate community.

What are the activities and experience of the organisation in the areas relevant for this application?
- In cooperation with the ministry of education in Palestine, we have a project to improve the skills of the children in non-formal education.

  • Participated in the INVEP 2 Youth Meeting “International Volunteers in Education Project” in Malaga, Spain 2013.
  • Participated in “different know how” training course in Cyprus 2013.
  • Participated in the INVEP 1 Training course “International Volunteers in Education Project” in Budapest, Hungary 2012.
  • Participated in MeYouMe "Mediterranean Youth Meeting" in Cosenza, Italy, 26 October- 1 November 2011. As part of MeYouMe, we established one of the largest youth network, MANY "Mediterranean Autonomous Network for Youth," to become a platform for youth associations in the Mediterranean region to discuss, debate and exchange ideas.    
  • Participated in the Euro-Med Youth Seminar on Gender Balance, organized by Euro-Med and TRANS international Spanish association, Malaga, Spain 29/July-5/August 2011,
  • Participated in the Euro-Med Youth Seminar on Human Rights, Religion and Beliefs, Amman, Jordan 19-26 August 2008, which was organized by Euro-Med, Youth Spirit Center and International Association for Religious Freedom.
  • Attended a course on Leadership and Democracy,organized by Bader Youth Organization and the Palestinian Red Crescent Organization, Ramallah, April 24 - 26, 2008.   
  • Participated in the Sixth Arab Youth Conference, which is a regional conference that brings future leaders from all Arab countries to debate ideas and discuss the pressing challenges that are facing the region. The conference was organized by the Arab Women in Media Center and held in Amman, Jordan, February 8-12, 2008.
Received training in First-Aid response (CPR), organized by Health Work Committees in cooperation with Medical and Pharmaceutical Drug Innovation and PTM, Nablus, October 12 – 27, 2002.

Akdeniz University (Turkey)
Akdeniz University, an institution which is dedicated to bringing illumination and enlightenment to society, was founded in 1982. It has since become one of the nation's leading education institutions due to its rapid yet stable progress. The university now provides a modern standard of education in 20 Faculties, 6 Schools, 13 Vocational Schools, and 39 Research and Application Centres. In addition to its bachelor degree programmes, Akdeniz University has 7 graduate schools which provide post-graduate and doctorate programmes, as well as providing a home for the Antalya State Conservatory. 
Akdeniz University, which is a member of the European Universities Association (EUA) and the International Association of Universities (IAU), attaches the greatest importance to internationalisation. The International Relations Office, which shares the vision of Akdeniz University, is responsible for Erasmus+ Programme, International Cooperation and Publicity, the Bologna Process, as well as the IAESTE, Farabi and Mevlana Exchange Programmes.

Turkish universities first became involved in the programme in 2003. At Akdeniz university, which was one of the first in Turkey to participate in the Erasmus programme from the very beginning as a pilot university in the implementation of European cooperation, we have progressed to the point where our work was recognised by the award in 2009 of the Erasmus Lifelong Learning prize, an award given to institutions chosen from amongst every university in Europe. This was to a large degree in recognition of the innovative coordination which we initiated between volunteers from the European Voluntary Service, and the work carried out by the International Relations Office.                                       Euromed Youth Center which runs within Akdeniz University International Relations Office is dedicated to serving the youth sector and young people and hosting a lot of Youth projects. Since 2007, The International Relations Office has been involved in the European Voluntary Service Programme as a Sending, Coordinating and Hosting Organisation. Under this programme we have implemented 8 different Youth Projects, amongst which are included several activities which give support to young people on the campus who have fewer opportunities. We are also a Eurodesk Contact Point with responsibility for informing young people about Youth Opportunities and Youth Projects. 

TRANS Association (Spain) aims, from the most absolute political and religious independence, to develop programs and activities that lead to situations of reflection and exchange on youth reality, promoting values and social attitudes of a tolerant, democratic,united and diverse culture. Our fundamental principles of action are based on participation, non-formal education and the search for alternative ways of social integration. To do this, every action also attempts to enable coordinated action among organizations, institutions, NGOs and social groups, seeking the goal of a freer society, peaceful, just and equitable. TRANS Association carries out educational and fun type target groups of children and young people from low-income or disadvantaged socio-cultural situation (workshops, town camps, etc.). In the area of nternational programs, the Association has participated and implemented youth exchanges, hosted projects EVS (European Voluntary Service), visits to project preparation and observation of professional practice.
